I’ve been meaning to make myself a new icon.
Long story short, Im selfish with my art. I can't draw to please other people. Inspiration is my greatest asset to achieving goals, but also my prison XD I can't draw what people want to see. But honestly, I need to be okay with that. My art, no matter its form, is something I needa do for myself. I’ve worked hard to improve, and for what? An obligation to please others? I don't think so. Finally, I have the ability to bring my imagination to life. I’m going to do that by drawing what inspires me at that singular given moment. And right now, that’s by drawing my own original characters. It’s by coming up with my own stories. So, finally, I think I am going to start drawing an original comic I’ve been wanting to make since my freshman year of high school.
