Capp family, Roaring Heights - #102

Following Tybalt Capp’s grand wedding, a tragedy struck the Capp family.

Days after the happy celebration, Contessa Capp passed away due to old age. Everyone’s devastated by the death of the matriarch, especially the newly-resurrected Consort. He dealt with this loss by gathering his family through a house party at their Beach Drive home.

Kent and his whole family accepted the invitation, and upon arriving, went straight to his father to comfort him. Other guests brought their musical instruments and played them to lift their mood up, while the rest were busy chatting. Consort revealed to Kent that Contessa’s last wish was to be left alone in peace - no resurrections, and to take care of each other and their business empire.

Before they left, Kent went to his sister Cordelia at the bar room. Seeing his dear sister’s grieving face, he insisted that she stop making drinks for a while. Not only because she’s not feeling well that time, but also she’s doing it wrong.

Their lives just continued on as usual. The household, even though they just came from a tragedy, didn’t forget to celebrate once in a while - it’s what Contessa wanted. So, they made time to celebrate the family and the season at the Fall Festival.

Capp family, Roaring Heights - #100

One "unfortunate” morning, Kent suddenly transformed to his werewolf form for an unknown reason, and this woke up his husband Jacob.

Jacob noticed that Kent seemed to be out of his self, sniffing him and then attacking him, biting him at the end. He just hoped that this one’s not cursed.

He didn’t feel much pain after, it’s like the bite suddenly disappeared.

Kent transformed back to his old human self, and upon learning the scene that he caused, he apologized to his husband repeatedly.

Luckily, he accepted it and the two seemed to made up quickly.

Few days have passed, and their suspicion came true - Jacob is now a werewolf.

Capp family, Roaring Heights - #98

While young Portia was with her friends downstairs, her sister Viola and dads Kent and Jacob were upstairs, doing their own thing.

Even though they’re busy in the library, Kent and Jacob were still attentive and listening for any possible rowdy or unusual happenings below. They wanted Portia to have a smooth and safe slumber party, and wanted everyone to have fun.

And they did. The party ended with most of them sleeping outdoors in their sleeping bags. The teens were in the “camping” mode that night.

The spirit of parties followed them until the next day. Kent got a house party invitation from one of his nephews, Richard (Goneril’s 5th child), who lives on the other side of the town, the Riverside Terrace neighborhood, with his own family. They all came to the young man’s house after their work and school.

Capp family, Roaring Heights - #92

Welcome back to the Capp household!

Time has passed since they’re seen last, and little Portia is now a beautiful teenager, who has the Easily Impressed, Good, Loves the Outdoors and Night Owl traits. She loves hanging out outside, dancing with the little sunflowers in their yard, and “helping” her dad Kent with his gardening.

Nothing much has changed with the adults. Viola is still in the military, Kent’s in science (and obsessed with pizza to this day) and Jacob’s still a politician.

With their growing family and needs changing, they realized that their old home was not enough for them. They had a new home built in the same lot, and to them, it was the “perfect dream house.”

Almost every stuff in the house is new. Portia’s very happy with her new chemistry station, perfect for her school science projects (and pranking), and all the bedrooms and home library are so much bigger now. They also have a more modern and sleek kitchen, living and dining areas.

Everyone has settled in very well in their new house. They felt so refreshed and couldn’t wait to continue their lives in a much better place.

Capp family, Roaring Heights - #89

As the afternoon went by, the clouds were becoming a bit duller and darker, and luckily, it hasn’t started raining yet. Everyone just went on and about in the pool area, enjoying the bit of sunshine hanging over Roaring Heights.

While the adults were dipping in the large pool and sunbathing, Portia decided to play at the playground first, and the cowplant spring ride became her new favorite.

And Kent loved strutting around the pool area with his pretty golden tan on. He knew that in a few hours, it would fade, and he wanted to show it off first before it happen.

Capp family, Roaring Heights - #90

Even though the sun’s a bit shy that time and wasn’t giving its shine all the way, most people there were still having a blast. Some were getting some nice tan like Kent, while some were struggling a bit even after hours of bathing under the sun.

And one of those was Goneril, who was scratching her head, thinking how did her little brother Kent got a pretty gorgeous tan in such a short time, while the young man’s having his summer cocktail beside her.

Before the neighborhood pool closed, the place was still very lively and vibrant with chatter and drinking from the guests.

Capp family, Roaring Heights - #57

Another beautiful day has arrived. This one was special because it’s Viola’s birthday!

After doing their usual day routines at home, they all went to the Boardwalk for the young lady’s birthday party that late afternoon. The setup was not very grand and opulent, but it’s something vibrant and beautiful that Kent was definitely proud of. He organized the party himself, since Jacob has work and couldn’t take a leave that morning. Viola loved the whole thing.

The guests were really enjoying the party, except for the celebrant herself. She loved the party and excited for her birthday, but she couldn’t enjoy it fully because her girlfriend Jennifer won’t be able to come because of her new work at the bistro. She understood her, but she was still feeling a bit sad.

She tried to forget that for a moment and just enjoyed the night with her family and friends. She didn’t want to disappoint her dads and little sister.

Capp family, Roaring Heights - #76

Rain started pouring heavily in Roaring Heights, and sadly, it meant that the beach outing was cut short. Everybody just went home.

Later, Portia started playing with her new costume chest that was given to her by her dads. The purple astronaut costume became her favorite, mostly because of the color.

Before the household went to bed, Jacob made sure to give Viola her graduation gift. He and Kent were struggling to think of a gift for her, but then decide to give her a kicky bag that has a sentimental value to both of them. Viola loved it and didn’t mind the simplicity of it. She’s very grateful.

The next day was another typical Monday, where everyone’s back to their work and school, and that included Viola in her new military job.

By afternoon, since only Kent and Jacob were the first ones to arrive home, they took advantage of this chance to relax together by the beach, and become more romantic. More intimate.
