Jacob was still debating on whether or not letting Mei set him up on a blind date with one of her friends was a good idea or not. It wasn't that he didn't trust his cousin with these things, but there was something about letting your friends make you go on blind dates that, while completely normal in Korean culture, he was still too American not to feel slightly bothered by it. As if he was desperate or something. Still, he came. Mei said her friend would be waiting for him by the lemonade booth, so, that's where he went.
He couldn't help but chuckle upon noticing Carissa there, too. "Hey you." Jacob rested his hand on the small of her back and leaned in to plant a kiss on her cheek. Then, he took a step back and placed his hands inside his jacket's pockets, not wanting his potential date to see him standing close to Carissa and get the wrong idea.
