This is an expansion to the Emma reacting to the slayers dating the reader (her sibling) but it’s Jacob who’s getting the expansion, again this was requested by @hyunjinbiased-blog.
You smiled as you watched everyone gathered around the living room couches as the screen illuminated light from whatever movie was playing.
It was times like this were you glad to have things in your life that make you happy.
Such things included; being in a relationship with the greatest man you’ve ever met, the people you have become friends with and this sight in front of you, which was a rare sight to see.
Of course you didn’t want to barge in on their movie time because we’re doing other things like your favourite activity.
You look over and see Jacob on the ground between Sam and Emma, eyes glued to the screen in front of him.
You must have been standing there for a bit because Jacob look up and sees you and says;
“Hey sweetheart come sit with us”
Everyone gives you a smile as an invite but you didn’t want to barge in like that.
“Um…I would love too but I..uh have other stuff to do” you say as you go to walk away.
“Wait, babe c’mon please, you haven’t had a time like this in ages, now come on” Jacob says patting his lap, a signal for you to sit there.
You sigh and say “alright”
You make your way over to your boyfriend and sit down in his lap and he wraps his arms around your waist before giving you a quick kiss.
He flicks his eyes back up to the screen and continues watching the movie and you do the same.
Emma looks down at you both and smiles. She was really happy that you found someone who treated you right and treated you with respect.
She may have been wary at first because she didn’t want you to get with a man that was like her husband, Robert.
She didn’t want you to go through what she did and couldn’t risk you getting hurt, but her perspective changed once you got with Jacob.
She liked Jacob because he was gentleman and not some prick.
Sam nudged her a bit “ya starin”
“I’m just glad they found a guy that’s actually a nice guy, I was just worried about them getting with someone who would treat them like shit” Emma told him.
“I get it, but Jacob Is a great guy and we both know that, everyone knows that” Sam said as he kissed her temple.
She smiled and turned her attention back to the movie, Sam was right, everyone knew it.
The movie had ended and you had fallen asleep on Jacob with your head in his chest and hands placed on his chest.
Everyone else got up to go to bed as it was getting late and Emma remained behind with you and Jacob.
Jacob looked down at you and smiled “alright it’s time to get you to bed”
Jacob got up with you in his arms and carried you bridal style to your shared bed and layed you down before tucking you under the covers.
Emma came to the door and said “hey”
Jacob looked up and said “hello, what’s up?”
Emma smiled “nothing, it’s just that you’re such a gentleman towards my sibling and to be fair, I used to be so worried about them ended up with someone like Robert..I just didn’t want them to go through it”
Jacob put a hand on her shoulder “listen, (y/n) deserves nothing but love and respect and will give that to them.”
Emma smiles “Thank you..”
She leaves and Jacob decides to get into bed with you and cuddles while whispering “I promise nothing will hurt them, over my dead body”
You had gotten back with Sam from a run when you notice no one was home but you spot a note on the table on the bar.
If you read this come to the beach in Santa Monica, me and the others are waiting there for you and Sam and don’t worry, me and the others have taken care of the walkers.
“Sam, they went to the beach in Santa Monica we need to head there” I said
“Ight let’s fix our weapons and get moving, it will be night time soon so we don’t want to be too long” he said.
“No objections here” you reply as you take the note and put it in your pocket.
After fixing your weapons and grabbing some supplies like protein bars and drinks for the journey ahead you make your way down to the sewers.
There were no walkers which made it easier to go through the entrance and into the underground part.
Sam had his trusty hammer equipped and you had your (W/O/C) as you surveyed the area for any incoming dangers.
You and Sam both made your way through the main entrance and turned right and went through a door leading to the other side of the sewer and made your way down to Pattons.
“I wonder why they all went to Santa Monica?” You question as you don’t recall any reason everyone would go at the same time.
“Same, even though it’s not as bad as it was it’s still dangerous” Sam said.
You make it to Patton’s home and knock on the door before he opens the door.
(Y/N), it’s so good to see you, let me guess you’re headed to Santa Monica right?” Patton asked
“Yes, did Jacob come through here with the others” you ask back.
He nodded “yes he did he said it was important that you be there”
“Ok…thanks patton” you say as he opens the door for you that’s leads out into Brentwood sewers.
You travel up a bit to the sewer and through the floodgates which was still open and through the worst stuff and into the outside world as you entered Venice beach.
You drop in and say hi to Trent and Kai with Sam before making your way back on track to Santa Monica.
After a bit longer of travelling you finally made it to Santa Monica and up ahead of you,you see a silhouette that looked like Jacob, but where were the others?
“Sam I only see Jacob, go find the others” you told him and he gave you a good luck before running off to search the area.
You run towards Jacob and started screaming “JACOB!”
He turned around to face you and a smile plastered his face as he watched you run to him the lighting of the sun setting making your face shine like heaven.
The sand beneath you crunched with every step you took towards him.
You flung yourself into his arms as you hugged him as he spun you around.
“Baby, I’ve been waiting to say this forever” Jacob started
You look at him confused as to what he was saying
“I love you with every fibre of my being and i want you to be mine forever”
He pulled out a box and opened it to see a ring.
“So (Y/N) Jaunt, will you marry me”?
Tears spill from your eyes and you nod your head vigorously
“Yes I will Jacob” you say and he slipped the ring on your finger.
He kissed you under the beautiful lighting of the sunset that bounced of the water making it look enchanting.
The others watched you from the sidelines near the tower and Emma had a tear roll down her cheek as she said “my sibling is getting married”
You pull away from Jacob and hug him close and in unison you both whisper “I love you.”
