Was it that bad?

It's just very dry coursework, I suppose.

Coffee Break || Kurt & Blaine

Blaine waited at his usual table, wringing his hands together as nerves took over the rational portion of his brain. His eyes were trained on the front section of the coffee shop, waiting as if the door was going to do a trick for him.

Okay, so he was nervous.

But he had every right to be, right? Because Kurt was sweet and humble and lovely to look at and he didn't want to screw it up. Not to say that it was a date, because Blaine wasn't one to jump to conclusions. If Kurt only wanted to be friends, Blaine would be okay with that too, but he didn't want to get his hopes up.

And so he waited. It wasn't long before Blaine caught a glimpse of perfectly styled hair, breezing through the doors to the shop.

"Hi," Blaine breathed as Kurt neared the table and Blaine rose from his seat, setting his bag on the chair. "I didn't know your order, so I figured I would wait until you got here," A blush crept along his cheeks and wow, Blaine really needed to calm down.

It wasn't a date.

They were just getting coffee, just as two normal friends would do after school.

Well, don’t act so surprised. I figured since I alway see a coffee cup in your hand that it would just be easier for the both of us if we got it together.

I suppose that makes sense. Shall I meet you at the Lima Bean, then? When you're free?
