JACQUELINE BLACK FOR @nightingale2004
What do you think would have happened if Jake were a woman (still very much a shifter) and imprinted on Edward? I know, a strange question, but now I can’t let it go.
Then Jacqueline is in for a bad time, because Edward wouldn't care. If she pursues him, he leaves Forks. Jacob being genderbent would have other consequences, namely for her relationship with Bella, as this time around they really are just friends. Jacqueline still hates the Cullens for being leeches that stressed out the entire reservation and for breaking Bella's heart, but there's no rivalry against Edward involved. Unless Jacqueline is a lesbian or bisexual woman who falls for Bella, in which case she's presumably working on whether or not to come out in a dark red part of the US in 2005 when she's not economically independent, when Edward comes along. I... frankly, anon, Twilight being a pit of despair I can only assume this would turn out badly for Jacqueline, one way or another.
