And on their birthday was the day i knew that Orion and I’s time had passed.  It was time for the next generation of the Genesis’ to move forward and take the community to places we could only imagine.  I would miss the time with our little family under one roof, but knew they would never be far away as they began lives of their own here on the island.

And just like that guys, we’re done with Gen 1!  Gen 2 will be starting soon :D

With our whole family old enough to do activities on their own now, they began to form closer bonds.  Though there were some activities Orion and I did not approve of....

Then the day came that i’d been dreading, it was time for our youngest to age up.

Though i couldn’t have asked for more wonderful children.  Jade grew up and found a love for everything exercise related while Bamboo insisted on wearing clothes everywhere even in the bathtub. A bit odd, but it made him unique and i loved that.

Soon the toddlers were taking their first few shaky steps.  It was hard on me emotionally.  I knew that our babies weren’t going to be babies much longer.

I will admit this only to myself, but our last two children were quite spoiled.  With all the kids being older everyone gave them extra attention, including Orion and myself.  We couldn’t help it, we knew these were the last babies we would have and wanted to enjoy every moment of them being toddlers while it lasted.

Not long after Azzy aged up our baby twins did as well.  Jade and Bamboo were now full fledged toddlers and once again Orion and I had our hands full.

Every time I saw Orion playing with our children, i fell a little more in love with him.  He was so sweet and playful with all of them, but there was something about our youngest.  Jade had him wrapped around her little finger.
