It's good to see you around Glommy.
JADE!
((AND back))
((Y'all probably are thinking, "Again?" but I kind of got seriously ill this time around. Fortunately it was a cold and not the flu but knocked me out for a few weeks. I got better just in time to go to UNT so I should hopefully be around more often but if you see me here before 6 pm central time Monday through Thursday, feel free to yell at me to be responsible.))
Movie
"This is something that humans do for fun?" Ale-wa held up the DVD box, looking at the picture. She couldn't read the language on the back, let alone the title. She liked the shades of blue on the cover, two oddly shaped creatures seeming to fly through space at light speeds, one of them holding a small green plant in triumph.
Jade, however, found the confusion of the alien a little entertaining, even though she'd met several other aliens before. "It's an every-day thing here." She put the DVD in the player. "Besides, you finally made it here, so I wanted to show you something. I can show you around the rest of San Francisco tomorrow."
"How do these discs work? Are people and other things trapped in here?" The Neian turned the box over and opened it a few times, curious how even that worked.
"No, it's...actually kind of a long story, I'll save that for another day." Jade pressed "play," ready to enjoy the animated adventure.
Surprisingly enough, Ale-wa stayed rather quiet throughout the duration of the film, holding onto the dvd box the entire time. She spoke out a few thoughts while they watched.
"What kind of world is this?"
"Why is the robot by itself? It's scrubbing the floor all alone."
"Is that one meant to be a ...steering wheel? It's not very nice to the floating human."
"That planet is meant to be Earth?"
By the end, Jade figured that maybe just animated movies weren't exactly meant to be a first-time thing for aliens not used to the planet. Especially ones that asked lots of questions.
Ale-wa enjoyed herself anyway, looking at the box one last time and describing how she liked the love between the two small robots.
Jade took the box back and put the disc inside, deciding that not only animated movies, but Wall•E was probably not the best choice of a first movie.
We haven't gotten the chance to talk much but ☕
//I can't tell the difference but...
Fact: I am most amused by the "potty humor" Beast Boy likes so much.
Opinion of You: I think you seem...very...chill, as Cyborg would say!

Another human? This makes my day already!

Hey. Can I help you?
jadedfrost replied to your post: Kara!
I have missed talking to you! How have you been?
Good enough! I'm going to medical school right now. I've been so busy, but it'll be worth it. How about you?
Kara!
Jaaaade! I haven't spoken to you in forever.
