jaded--soul started following you
Given how much time he spent with doctors, one would think it only natural that Kirrahe would be used to hospitals. Wasn't the case, it seemed. He kept his frown neutral as he stepped off the elevator, brushing past a woman picking apart details on Huerta's name. "Excuse me, ma'am, are visiting hours open for Lenki Gnoste? I'd like to see him. Ah, Business reasons."
The asari behind the counter shook her head, lips pulled back in a pleasant, if forced, smile. "No, sir. He's in a therapy session right now, though if you're not in a rush you can take a seat over there and wait until he's fit for visitors." She directed him to a plush armchair overlooking the Presidium. Upon sitting Kirrahe found it wasn't as soft as he had first assumed, a few loose springs dug uncomfortably into his side.
A few small adjustments and he found it was suitable, even if it meant him having to lean heavily upon the arm. "Furnishing could use some upgrading," he said lightly, half-addressing his neighbour. A drell-- didn't see many of those. "In a way it's heartening. Well, it means they're spending their money of the patients, anyway." Small-talk was not his strong point, but he wasn't in the mood to sit around in silence. Not today.
