hmmm! i wish i was more normal about my birthday!

#jadee talks #is this really going to happen #every . year.#sometimes infeel like maybe i’m just exaggerating #but today i woke up with an ache in my chest i havem’t had in a while #and i hated the way it felt so familiar #and i checked the date and Yep that checks out #thankfully #some parts are different #i am being very kind to myself #kinder than before at least #bc usually with the heartaches come Thoughts also #but all i heard today #was how getting breakfast or hugging my mom or just going about my routine #might help #that’s nice #i am still . incredibly worried #bc it’ll also be about a year since my 5 month episode last year #i feel like i’ll b ok but #anniversaries have power sometimes #oh but on the bright side i also #have therapy this week so!#hopefully that helps and that i hold out til then :)#and by hold out i mean talk it through with the people i trust and let myself cry when i need to hehe #haaaaaaa i feel like i’ve sighed like 10 times already just this morning

#jadee talks #was just really sad today #but i think i handled it ok #normally i'd rush to defend myself when someone misunderstands me #but lately i've been taking the advice that says smth like #one day you'll realize that some people #for a million possible reasons #will be committed to misunderstanding you no matter how much u try to explain yourself #like to fit their narrative maybe?#idk i'm sure i didn't do everything right naman talaga and i don't deny i can be an insufferable know-it-all #but i've always been open to learning but i can't do that unless someone points it out to me #bc i do make an effort to learn and choose my words carefully #so of course i'll feel like i'm handling it properly #anyway realized that someone i care about has been carrying resentment towards me #over some advice i gave #maybe i was insensitive but i wish i was told #to my face that actually my advice is very inconsiderate #but i had to overhear it ?#like how was i even supposed to correct myself ...#anyway #today was sad but somehow freeing #bc even tho the past few months i've been trying to learn not to care abt what others think og me #this is the first time i actually got to experience finding out that someone actually thinks so badly of me #i would've been terrified at the thought before #especially since it's someone i care about #but today after trying to reflect naman on the issues that were brought up and of course seeing if there is truth to it and maybe i should #really check myself #i kind of just accepted it .... bc i know what i did and i know my intentions #and for the longest time it's always been others first at my expense #but today i accepted that it's fine it's okay to not be people's favorite anymore
