Is it a newt, maybe? If it is, make sure you wash your hands well after handling, because many produce toxins on their skin that’s dangerous if ingested or if it comes into contact with open wounds.

That’s so funny -- I looked up newts to see if that was what it was & came back to see your reply! It is a newt! Definitely washed my hands well after, but not because I knew that rather horrific bit of info... Yikes.

5. If you were a type of tree, what would you be?

I suppose I would say that I am a red maple.  When I was adopted, my parents planted a red maple tree in our yard, and it still stands, tall and full of life today.  That’s the kind of tree I would be.

I think I would choose to learn many talents that I am somewhat okay at. Then at least you’re well-versed in all things. :)

1. I grew up figure skating and was even good at it - like with trophies and everything. 2. I look more like my adoptive mom than my birthmom (cue Twilight Zone) 3. I'm uber competitive a-la Monica in Friends and it's not pretty. 4. I used to have a cat and she had thumbs and it was awesome. 5. I always secretly wanted to be an actress.
