WE ARE AT THE HOMESTRETCH! Approximately ~16 fanadventures stand between me and meeting my goal, and I’m feeling so good after the latter half of 2022 that I think I might just do them all tonight. Maybe. Who knows. WELCOME TO 2023, THE YEAR OF REVIVAL! Everybody’s getting back into MSPFA, Everybody’s so EXCITED about the fandom, and oh yeah, HOMESTUCK BEYOND CANON is back with a brand new team that ROCKS MY SOCKS OFF every time they post an upd8. Life’s good. Life’s going to be even better in 2024, the year I am *currently* residing in, but since we haven’t technically made it to the end of that year yet (though we are close…) I have decided to call it quits and declare the end of this project in 2023. Okay. Enough pre-ramble (emphasis on “ramble”) let’s talk about JADESTUCK.

I can only assume, at this stage, that Jadestuck is what happens when you replace every single character with Jade Harley. I can only hope this is the premise, but probably it is not.

Hey author of JADESTUCK: stop saying you think you are bad at art. I am currently looking at one of the most detailed render of a beanstalk I have ever seen, that I could never do in a million years (on page 6, btw). You can’t draw me THAT and then tell me you are bad at art. You are not bad at art, author! Believe in yourself! Jade Harley would! And I do too!

Sadly, it looks like Bec is literally Bec in this comic, so my hopes about what Jadestuck actually is are dashed to smithereens. This is an unfortunate day for me, and my hopes. But fortunately for me, there was a gag that I snickered at, so that should be worth SOMETHING at least.

Readers I think this one’s a banger and a half. It’s really funny. Especially one running gag. I won’t spoil it, because that’s not a good thing to do, but…it’s a really funny running gag. Top tier, in fact. Also it seems to be doing some interesting stuff with meta characterization???????? So that’s fun. Unfortunately, it’s inactive…but maybe, we can wish really hard, and it can come back to life and become “ongoing” once again!!!!!!!!
