So I've had this set of 15-lbs dumbbells in my possession for a while since my father passed away, and have now started to use them. Aside from simply lifting them and doing curls, what are some other methods of exercise I can do with them? I'm sure I can Google it, but I'd rather ask a person first.

I do have a home workout video that has some exercises you can use with dumbbells. It’s a circuit workout, which I think works best with lighter weight dumbbells so you can still tire the muscles out.

Some exercises you can do with dumbbells:

Chest:

Dumbbell push-ups (with certain types of dumbbells)

Shoulders:

Shoulder press

Lateral raises

Front row

Back

Dumbbell row

Dumbbell pullover

If you have the ability/equipment, pull-ups are a great back exercise.

Arms:

Bicep curl

Dumbbell tricep extension

Dumbbell tricep kickback

Legs:

Dumbbell squat (Quads)

Overhead dumbbell lunges (Glutes and hamstrings + shoulders)

Calf raises

Dumbbell swing (Lower Body)

Abs:

Dumbbell Russian twists

Crunches, planks, leg raises can all be done without the need for any equipment.

You can pick and choose any of these dumbbell exercises and throw them together for a full body circuit!
