Pass Out: "Hey!" Lena ran over to where the woman had fallen and knelt down to see if she was okay. "You okay?" Gently shaking her, Lena watched for movement.
Send your muse’s reaction to finding mine passed out on the floor
Sometimes, Naomi forgot to eat.
It was really as simple as that.
There were times when she'd be so caught up in her work that it would completely slip her mind that the last meal she'd eaten was lunch the day before. And that was when the gastric would usually hit, and it'd take her the rest of the day and all of the next to recover.
She'd had to go out this time, to get meds and food because she'd forgotten to go grocery shopping this week, and honestly she'd pushed away the fact that she was feeling a little faint because, well, she had to shop for grocery if this damn thing was going to go away.
One moment she'd been seeing stars, and the next she found herself on the floor, blinking up at a woman she'd never seen before, with a dull throbbing pain in her head. She lay there for a moment, desperately trying to get her bearings, before finally sitting up -- slowly, because the moment she tried, she saw stars again.
"Oh, geez," she muttered under her breath, doubling over. "What the hell just happened?"

OOF. OMG. HI.
jaegerbar:
Lena smiled at him, a small brown bag in her hand along with a carrier with two cups of coffee. She had heard from Marshall Hansen about Tendo’s attempt to take his own life and it nearly killed her. Tendo was such a sweet, gentle soul she couldn’t take the idea of him facing this alone. She had closed up the bar for the day and got clearance to come see him, hopefully show him that there was a reason to still stay.
Wearing a Rolling Stones shirt and a pair of jeans, she walked over to his bed and set the coffee on the small table in the room, turning to him, Lena held out the bag and said, “I got the okay from your Doctors to bring you some food, I hope I remembered how you took your coffee.” She motioned to the cups and then gestured to the bag, “I got you a bagel as well.” She smiled at him again, it was a smile she rarely gave, but she always gave it to him, a real smile, showing how much she cared about him.
Weary brown eyes showed gratitude at Lena's gesture. Perhaps coffee and a bagel would help a little bit, too. He wouldn't have expected it to be Lena who showed up. How could she? They hadn't been together in years, though she'd been there through his seperation with Alison, they were by no means really friends anymore. It was hard to go from being so intimate to something so different.
Taking the bag, Tendo tried to smile, but the lines around his mouth only tightened somewhat. "Thanks," he whispered hoarsely, then cleared his throat and tried again, "thanks, Lena. I... I didn't expect you. I'm--well, I'm real sorry that you're seeing here of all places." His lips compressed and he twisted the paper bag in his hands anxiously.

"Lena?" The name rang through the quiet and sterile room like a bell. There was fear and startlement in the sound as Tendo shied away from the door and stumbled back onto the bed, sitting down abruptly. He was certain that his heart was going to beat right out of his chest. What was she doing here?
"Um . . . hello." It was lame. It was an awful way to greet her, but he felt unbalanced by the sudden visit. Lena. Strong and gorgeous Lena. This was not how he wanted her to see him. His shoulders slumped and he raised a hand to run his fingers through his hair.
