"The stars are beautiful tonight," her voice trailed off softly into the darkness as the two leaned their bodies against one another; her head resting on his shoulders and his head resting on her gentle head. Her fragrance blew a calming sensation into his bloodstream as the two silently gazed at the night sky.
Nights like these, was one of his favorites.
His smile was gentle, and soft - something you rarely see on the prince's features; but for Hwaeji, it wasn't something uncommon.
His fingers gradually entangled with the others almost naturally, as though their hands were the last missing pieces of a 1,000 piece puzzle they finally completed with one another. To him, it's as though his missing puzzle piece in life was finally filled in and there was no longer the empty space of the missing piece in his beautiful masterpiece.
If only nights like these would last forever, if only moments like these would be never-ending, and if only stars like these would shine brightly by his side for an eternity;
there was nothing else he could ever ask for.
"The stars are only beautiful when I look at them with you," he let out a gentle sigh as he slowly closed his lids. "because to me, you're the only star in the night sky that never ceases to amaze me with her beauty," he muttered softly as his body slowly began to drift off into the night.
