he knew that a short period of nights filled with peaceful slumber were only the calm before the storm. he could sense it coming. and it’s finally happening. once again waking up terrified, sobbing, he finds himself gripping the sheets that are damp from both his sweat and tears. he covers his mouth in order to muffle the sound and avoid disturbing his roommate. his entire body is shaking as it attempts to swallow the screams that beg to be unleashed. it’s clear that he won’t be able to go back to sleep, which causes him to sneak his way over to the other boy’s bed, sitting on the edge of it and giving him a nudge or two. “bak... bak, wake the fuck up... please.” he sniffles and tries to make his face look as dry and normal as possible. but it’s hard as the darkness of the room begins to suffocate him. ”i need you to drive me the fuck away from here. i don’t care where. we can go out of the state for all i care. just. i need a ride. please.” he whimpers, breathless and helpless, feeling utterly pathetic. / @jaesvngs

"Didn't you have me in bed already? You offered me your bed and then we ended up sharing the couch. It's a memory that is safe in my heart, even though I'm still a bit embarrassed about getting drunk." Nana said with a soft laugh, her fingers playing with the end of her hair, a sign she was feeling shy. "But I will admit I would love to create a new memory together while I'm sober."

It was Christmas and G1 Entertainment was throwing its annual holiday party for employees and group members that did not have any plans.
Jaesung was one such person, standing on his own in a doorway with a glass of champagne in his hand, watching with idle interest as people interacted.
He spotted Nana at the food table, a small, private smile crossing his lips. He would call out to her.
“Nana,” he waited to catch her eye before motioning her over. When she joined him he would point at her face. “You’ve got something on the your mouth.”
He didn’t wait long for her to flounder before that pointing finger slipped beneath her chin, tipping it up to kiss her lips lightly — nothing too demanding before he pulled back.
“Sorry, it was me,” he teased quietly before pointing up to the mistletoe hanging above them.
Nana had been really looking forward to the annual holiday party of G1 entertainment because it would be the first time she attended it. She had been working for the label for about one year and she made many wonderful people through her job. And some of those people had helped her promote her small make-up store or gotten her more jobs as a model. And celebrating a bit with people she liked always brought a smile to her face.
The young woman had just finished greeting a few of the female artists she know as she decided to get a small snack. But before Nana could grab anything she heard a familiar voice calling her name. She looked over and as as soon as her eyes landed on Jaesung her lips curled up into a smile. She was genuinely happy to see him and as she gestured for her to come over she did.
The make-up artist blinked in surprise as he said she got something on her mouth, but before she could touch her lips with her fingers she already felt his fingers beneath her chin. Another blink followed as the young male's lips touched hers and as he pulled back her cheeks were slightly flushed. Jaesung had caught Nana off guard and her whole expression was giving it away.
The young woman let out a small giggle before gentle hitting his arm. Then she looked up to find the mistletoe hanging over them, which made her heart skip a beat. "If you had warned me I might had the chance to kiss you back. It would have made this moment more special." She teased him back, even though she wished the kiss had lasted longer.

this happens often these days. jaesung, lying in bed, scrolling through fan comments and humoring them with replies, unable to sleep despite the heavy weight of his lids. they all tell him to sleep, and he counters that they should, too. but they’re up for a reason, they’re studying for exams and sometimes he feels oddly jealous of that. the regular lives they all get to lead outside of being a fan, while he lives and breathes atlas without a break because he can’t do anything else. objectively, he knows that he’s lucky, that he’s set for life even if the fall comes sooner than they hope, that he would’ve drowned in university and after in a regular office job. but, still. he can’t help but wonder, sometimes. he is thankful, though, and he tells his fans as much. thanks them for entertaining him with dumb edits and heartwarming messages alike, tells them he’s finally going to sleep now and that they should also.
and then, he locks his phone. he sets it aside and closes his eyes. sleep never comes on nights like this, and tonight’s no exception. he sighs, whispering sunwoo’s name so quietly it’s mostly just a breath. maybe he doesn’t want him to hear. when the youngest responds with a resounding snore, he smiles something small, fond, and slips out of their bed. his slippers softly drag against the floor on his way to kiwon’s room and he shivers in his thin, long-sleeve jj pajamas as the door slowly creaks open. he closes it lightly behind him before sliding in beside kiwon, arms naturally sliding around the other boy’s waist to steal warmth. comfort. jaesung sighs against the back of his neck, nuzzling there and shutting his eyes once more. he feels better, now, with the faint scent of orange blossoms and amber near him. “kiwon,” he mumbles gently, “are you awake?”
