Starter For @sanctuary-in-dreams
The screams of people sounded as some creepy looking robots roamed through the city. On a street, a crazed looking man stood, shouting and laughing hysterically. His hair was wild, and he was wearing a suit with what seemed like wires coming out of it, with a control panel of some sorts in his hands.
A lone robot roamed towards a scared child. Before it could reach them, however, Jae flew down from the sky all suited up in his purple and black hero suit and mask, scooping the kid up and putting them somewhere safe. Then, he made his way back to the robot, sending sharp burst of electric blue colored energy through it. The robot was a mess of wires and metal afterwards, sparking and finally ceasing to move.
“One down, more to go!” He cried, making his way towards the source, taking down more robots on the way. Soon, he’d reached the source, and exchanged words with and attempted to talk the villain, Twisted Technophiliac, out of it. Of course he didn’t listen. Jae thought. They mostly never do.
After a while more of fighting, a commotion ensued, and after some sort of explosion, smoke filled the air. It seemed he was attempting to make a run for it. “Eeek, damnit,” he cried, coughing. He ran to attempt to find an area clear of smoke. Finally getting free from the smoke, he looked around. Something caught his eye.
A tall man was being cornered a distance away by a few robots. One of the robots was about to strike. He gathered energy in his hands, running toward them. Before he could shoot, he saw he man’s hair turn white, as a wave of ice was unleashed upon the robots, freezing them in place. Jae was frozen in place, (mind the pun) for a moment, before snapping out of it and running towards him.
“Dude, that was amazing!” He cried, observing the robots now encased in ice. “Are you a super too? If so, I think you’d be called Ice Man. Can I call you Ice Man?” He turned to him, grinning.
