Jake was not much of a thinker. He liked to go straight to the doing. And he wasn’t organized. So it meant he had completely messed the schedule his sister had done to help him and spent two extra hours straight working on this storyboard to get back in track to what he was supposed to have already done... that is, before realizing he was already late for the.. date? well, whatever that was. He was late and he needed to shower fast and get irresistibly handsome just as quick to show to that arse of person just how much he was worth it. He arrived Cloak&Stagger at least fifteen minutes after what he was supposed to, his perfume soft on his skin as he walked straight to the bar to sit next to the person he thought to be the one expecting for him. His shirt had its three first buttons undone so if he inclined the right way, it was possible to see what he had done to his nipple.  “Strawberry smoothie with vodka, extra-strong please,” he asked the bartender. if he were at dance again the staff would already know what he was going for. But not here. He actually enjoyed the other club a lot more, but he needed some neutral grounds right now... not a place where the other would be working. “Hi, non-pierced guy,” he said as if the nickname was some sort of offense. “Any chance u’re gonna change your mind about it? because I’m so inclined to insist.” @jaexpark

Starter Call

With the event ending and threads dropping I thought it would be good for me to put out this starter call. If anyone is interested in a starter just like this and I will personally write a starter for either my character Joon or Jae (@jaexpark​). If you want a specific character or plot then just message me and we can figure something out. Hope you all are having a great day!!

One more revamp before bed time!!! Meet the new and developed Jae Park. Again if you would like to plot something or just write a starter let me know. 

is that [IM JAEBUM]? no, that’s just [JAE PARK]. [HE] is [TWENTY-FOUR] years old and is the [OWNER OF DANCE AGAIN]. rumor has it they’ve been in town for [THIRTEEN YEARS]. on a good day, they’re [INTELLIGENT and COMPASSIONATE ] but watch out! they can also be [STUBBORN AND IMPULSIVE]. [SOUR CANDY BY LADY GAGA] plays in my head whenever i think of them. can’t wait to see them around springhill!

TLDR;

Jae is an impulsive man who is so afraid of being committed that he will push off anyone from getting to close. You may thing that you are close with him but you will soon realize that you know nothing about him besides what his favorite drink it or what music he listens to in the car. The loss of his brother has closed off Jae’s heart and he won’t open it up for just anyone. 

Jae Park’s Life Story 

Jae had been with his brother for as long as he could remember. 

They had spent most of their lives traveling around the country and while that meant he had seen more than the average kid it also meant he hadn’t really had a home before.

His brother was an artist and so they would move every time his muse for a place ended. 

He held onto the little things tho. Every time they would go somewhere his brother would take him to the local hardware store and let him pick out a sample can of paint. (Since those were free) He was allowed to paint one wall.

That all changed when they happened on Springhill, NJ. Jae had just turned 13 years old when his brother put a full can of paint on the table. 

He would be able to paint as much of his room as he liked because this is where they were going to stay forever. 

Jae found out the reason for their stay was that according to his brother a family member had left them his old run down club. 

It was nothing at first but after many years and a lot of “loans” they were finally able to open up Dance Again. 

Jae was 16 when the place became fully operational and quickly fell in love with everything about it. He would sneak in at night and watch the patrons from the top balcony of the club. 

Years passed and the club became more and more popular. He didn’t notice then but his brother was beginning to succumb to the stress of the business. 

When Jae turned 18 he was accepted into the NYU Stern School of Business hoping to get a degree and help his brother out with the club. However, his studies were cut short as he received a call from one of their investors that his brother hadn’t been seen for at least a week. 

Jae rushed home and when he got to their apartment he found all of his brothers stuff still there except for his notebook and over night bag. 

Jae called the police and they began to do a search but something told him his brother was gone. 

Jae dropped out of school and began running the club on his own at 21. It was hard at first but as he grew older he grew into a man he thinks his brother would be proud of. 

Sometimes when Jae goes to bed he hopes his brother will come back. He thinks that if he makes Dance Again the most amazing place in the world that it will entice his brothers muse. 

However when he wakes up he hopes his brother died and didn’t decide to leave him like everyone else.
