Our brother, #Paulist Fr. George Fitzgerald, entered eternal life on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. He was 86. This photo was taken around the time of his #ordination to the #priesthood in 1965. A native of #Jaffrey, NH, Fr. George had been a member of the Paulist community for almost 60 years and a #priest for 53 years. During his decades of #ministry, he was a #Catholic #campusminister, parish pastor, @PaulistPress editor, author, and more. He also was an avid skier. Fr. George’s wake will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 22, at @calnewmanhall in #Berkeley, CA. His funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 23. Eternal light grant unto him, O Lord!
