a couple days ago i reflected on what got me so into batman and i find it so funny that it all points to Miraculous Ladybug.

Like the miraculous crossover fics that a lot of dc fan actually despise, are the only reason i now hold the wayne’s and gotham as a whole, so close to my heart.

I actually only ever started reading fanfiction for miraculous, specifically Marichat.

and i don’t know how i stumbled upon a crossover but i did and it changed my life for the better.

“Marrinette Dupain Chang is Bruce Wayne’s biological daughter” became my favorite tag. alongside “Marrinette needs a hug”

It’s how i learned angst and all of its potential.

It’s where my love for found family grew.

So people can hate on the crossover fics all they want. but they hold such a special place in my heart.

do i still read them? not really, my obsession with miraculous faded away with time.

also it’s kinda been replaced by peter in gotham fics ngl. what’s that one meme. “i wouldn’t say saved, more like…under new management.” yeah that’s me.
