You didn’t know where things stood between the two of you. He would flirt with you, hold you in his arms, and just all the things that people did in a relationship. You weren’t sure if the two of you should continue whatever it was that you had because there were moments where you truly doubted if he felt the same way. With his constant traveling, it was hard to get time to really sit down and talk to him about this. When he was home, all you wanted to do was spend time together but you had finally decided enough was enough. So here you were, sat on his bedroom floor with Simba sleeping in your lap as he sat across from you working on some music on his laptop.

“Am I all up in my feelings? Or is this where we are?” you asked Zion. “I was down. I was patient. Now I don’t know how to say this, but I don’t wanna waste my time if I’m not sure.” you said while avoiding eye contact with him.

You could sense his gaze on you as you continued to gently pet Simba. You knew he was confused by your sudden statement but it had been something you were thinking about for a while now. Was it worth it to spend time doing this constant back and forth if he didn’t see a future with you? Neither one of you had ever brought up the topic of the future but let’s be real, you wanted that with him. You wanted to walk down the aisle in a white dress with Zion waiting at the alter, finding out you were going to be having a kid, the late nights staying awake with your baby who wouldn’t stop crying, the fights that would end in an apology and a long hug that screamed “I love you” without having to say a word, the laughter of witnessing Simba and your kids playing, you wanted it all but did he?

Confusion was plastered across his face as he gently placed his laptop on the floor beside him and walked over to you. He sat down beside you and placed Simba on the floor before pulling you onto his lap and wrapping his arms around you.

“Don’t you hold me now if I’m not yours. ‘Cause I gave it all I tried, hate to say goodbye but I know you feel it. I can’t waste my time if I’m not sure, and I’m not sure.” you said as soon as he had you in his arms.

“What are you talking about? Don’t you know how I feel about you? Baby, you’re the best thing I’ve ever had.”

“You don’t make it seem like that Zion. You haven’t even made it official and we’ve been doing whatever this is for over 6 months now. What do you want? I hate that someone could be taking my place while you’re away on tour but I gotta get over it ‘cause honestly, we won’t last too much longer if we keep doing what we’re doing.”

“Nobody could replace you. I know I suck at this whole relationship thing but I’d do anything to keep you in my life. I didn’t think we needed labels. I know how I feel about you and you know how you feel about me. I thought that was all we needed. But I’ll make it official right now if that’s what you want. Hell I’ll scream it from the rooftop and marry your fine ass right now if that’s what you want. I know you’re my future baby. Ain’t no doubt in my mind.” Zion said as he made you look at him.

You gave him a soft smile as you leaned up to give him a kiss. That was all you needed to hear. To know that he loved you as much as he possibly could was the only confirmation you needed. He was it. Nothing could break you two apart and you were sure about that.

In Real Life:

IRL was formed through the ABC competition show Boy Band in August of 2017. The group consists of 5 boys from around the United States.

JAGMAC:

JAGMAC is a group consisting of 6 siblings, 4 brothers and 2 sisters that formed in 2014. The name originates from each member of the bands first initials put in order from youngest to oldest. They are a half-Filipino and half-Polish family from Baltimore, Maryland who are all trained black belts in Taekwondo.

OTO consists of 5 members. Devin Hayes, Jon Klaasen and Andrew Bloom met in 2017 while filming the ABC TV show, Boy Band. While Klaasen had been friends with Sam Jenkins for years prior to the band. Dawson Huckabee was brought into the group to round it all out.
