Corey was too young and too kind to be taken so soon. His genuine soul shined through in all of the videos he was a part of. He cared about his friends and family. He was always ready to help his friends and was always a good sport.

Roommate Buys My Outfits (Crawford Collins)

"What's up my beauties? Today I'm going to be filming a video with one of my roommates where he will be buying my outfits for a day."

"Say hi to Crawford in the comments down below."

"Usually they buy one outfit but I'm going to have Crawford buy anywhere from 2-5 depending on how he feels. Don't forget to let me know your favourite outfit in the comments down below!"

"Anyways I'm gonna stay here while Corey, Crawford & Kian go to the mall to shop for the outfits. I have a list of sizes for Crawf to buy just to make it easier for him."

"Alright enough chit chat! The boys are going to take a camera with them so cut to the footage!"

After filming the intro to the video, the boys grabbed their wallets, keys and the camera before heading out to the mall. While they were gone I charged my other camera battery and got some work done for my other projects. All the roommates minus Franny are out of the house at the moment so it's the perfect time to actually have peace and quiet.

Finally after a few hours the boys came back through the house carrying various bags from many stores. I stayed in the kitchen as they organized all the outfits into the proper bags and order.

"Alright babygirl! Time to see what we got you." Crawford said before throwing you over his shoulder and walking into the living room.

"Well that looked fun! Now that the boys are back, let's get to it! I'm going to be filming the official outfit reveals tomorrow so I'll see you guys in a second where it'll be Monday for me!"

"Welcome back! I guess for you guys it's only been a second but it's Monday for me and I'm going to go wake up Crawford so that he can explain the outfits so let's go!"

I walk out of my bedroom and make my way next door to Crawford's room. Before I open the door I turn on my camera and quietly open his door. I set up my camera on his desk so it's pointed at his bed. Slowly walking up to his bed, I jump on top of him and start messing with him.

"Ohhhhh Crawford! Time to get up bubs. You've gotta explain what the inspiration for outfit 1 is." I yelled while shaking him awake.

I hear him mumble something before he wraps his arms around me and pulls me against his chest.

"5 more minutes." He mumbles.

"Not a chance. Get up so we can start our day."

After pestering him for a few more minutes he finally gets up and throws on a hoodie and a hat before making his way to my room with me.

I pull out the bag with the number 1 written on it before passing it to Crawford.

"Alright so today we're going for a chill and casual vibe as the roomies hang out together. We're probably gonna grab some food and go take photos so I kept it pretty simple. I didn't bother getting a bag or any jewelry for this one cause I figure you can just use what you already own."

I watch as he pulls out a red and black pinstripe button down blouse, high-waisted light-wash ripped skinny jeans, white socks and white filas.

"Ok honestly the top isn't really my style and this just looks like the female version of that outfit your wore when you were posing on the ping pong table in our backyard. But I think I know how to make it suit me better. So I'm gonna go change and I'll be right back."

I stopped the recording before kicking Crawford out of my room and changing into the outfit he bought me. I buttoned the shirt halfway down before taking the two sides and trying them in a knot so that it became more of a cropped shirt. I wore the rest of the outfit as one normally would and made my way outside where the rest of the roommates were waiting.

"Damn, babygirl. I did a good job. You look so good." Crawford said as soon as he saw me step out of my room.

The rest of the roommates were in the kitchen talking and looked to see my outfit for the day. Everyone gave their own words of approval and support as I did a spin for the video. We stopped recording and everyone went their separate ways to get ready for our roommate day.

I looked up when I saw a pair of shoes right in front of me only to see Crawford in the exact outfit I said my outfit reminded me of. It was the outfit from the pictures of him on the pingpong table.

"Ready to go? We're taking my car while Kian, JC and Chelsea go together in a car and Corey, Bobby and Franny go together."

We left and drove to a brunch place before walking around and shopping a bit. After we finished that, we made our way to the beach for some photos and to hang out.

"Hey babygirl, grab your camera so we can film the second outfit. I packed it in my backpack." Crawford said as he sat down beside me on the sand.

I grabbed my camera and handed it to Bobby so he could film for us. I watched as Crawford pulled out a bag and set it down in front of us before pulling things out.

"What's up guys. It's time for outfit 2 and since we're hanging out at the beach, I thought a nice beach outfit would be the play. Check it out, I got this black Tommy Hilfiger bikini, a pair of jeans shorts and an All Time Low muscle tee."

"Honestly I don't usually wear bikinis because I'm a bit insecure about my body but I love the shorts and muscle tee! Got anything else in your magical bag, Crawf?"

"Obviously! So I got you a simple pair of black flip flops cause you know, we're at the beach. Plus a pair of aviator shades so you don't get blinded. Now go to the changing building and switch your outfit!"

I quickly walked towards the changing buildings before going back to the group with my first outfit in my arms.

"Tell me she doesn't look hot in that outfit? I did so good. Come closer so we can see everything better." Crawford yelled as he noticed me walking back.

Bobby already had the camera filming so he caught Crawfords reaction and the rest of the roommates as they turned to look at me.

"Y/n, take off the shirt and shorts so we can go in the water already!" Franny shouted excitedly.

"Ok but only after Bobby turns the camera off. I don't want footage of me in the bikini...insecurities and stuff you know?" I said while looking towards Bobby.

"I got you just go ahead and enjoy the water with Franny. I'll make sure your camera is put away safely."

I nodded and took off my shorts and shirt along with Franny before running out towards the water. That was the thing I loved about hanging out with the roomies, I never had to worry or feel insecure around them because they've seen me at my worst and still stick with me.

After a long day of hanging out and going on adventures with the roomies, we decided to end it with a simple dinner with some of the guys grilling burgers and hotdogs for dinner before having a movie night.

When we arrived back at home we all showered and changed into some comfy clothes before Crawford announced that it was time for the third and final outfit. The two of us sat down on the couch to record the outfit and explanation.

"We're back after a long day of running around LA but now it's time for the last outfit! Crawford, take it away."

"Alright so I thought I'd keep it simple since we're just having a movie night with everyone. I got you a pair of these black Nike spandex shorts or whatever these are, a pink Collins 97 hoodie from my old merch line, a simple black beanie and a pair of fuzzy socks that look like a penguin. Now go change so we can get this show on the road."

I laugh and stop the recording before taking the bag and making my way back into my room to change. As I throw the hoodie on, I notice that it smells like Crawfords cologne and smile to myself. I just know he did that on purpose so that I end up smelling like him. He's always doing things like this but I find it kind fo cute.

I make my way back out to the main dining room/living room area as Kian films the reveal as well as everyone's reactions.

"Tell me I didn't kill it! Y/n looked so good all day and even now in chill clothes she looks amazing. I won and no one else needs to do this challenge cause they can't beat me." Crawford said as he wrapped his arms around your waist and spun you around.

"You're so dramatic Crawf." I said with a laugh before hugging him back.

"I know that you sprayed your cologne on the hoodie by the way. I'm not man though. It's kind of cute that you want me to smell like you." I lean in and whisper in his ear before giving him a kiss on the cheek.

I can see a slight blush on his cheeks as he hides his face in my neck.

"Alright lovebirds, let's get to the food so we can eat and then kick off our movie night." Bobby says before everyone walks back to the table to start grabbing their food.

The two of us pull apart with Crawford wrapping his arm around my shoulder as we walk towards the table and sit down beside each other.

We finish our food and head off to the living room to start our movie night where Crawford and I cuddle on the couch together. The two of us shared a bowl of popcorn and a bag of candy as we cuddled throughout the movie.

After a few movies we decided it was time for bed but I still had to film my outro for the video so I asked Corey to film for us before we headed off to bed. Crawford and I were too lazy to actually get up from our position on the couch so we just stayed cuddled up as we did the outro.

"Hey guys! So it's been a long day but we've finally made it to the end. We just finished our movie night but I just want to thank Crawford for the amazing outfits and all the confidence boosting comments throughout the day. Anyways don't forget to subscribe and follow Crawford. Where can they find you?"

As I leaned in for a hug, Crawford wrapped one arm around my waist while grabbing my chin with his other hand and pulling me in for a kiss. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. We always kind fo flirted with each other but I never thought he was serious about any of the things he was saying.

When we pulled away, I could feel myself blushing and I noticed his cheeks were red too. When we finally broke out of our trance, we looked to see the Corey was still recording but he was completely frozen.

"Um...dude? Can you like stop recording now?"

Corey nodded and hit the button before putting the camera down and walking out of the room and to his bedroom.

"So...do we need tot all about what just happened?"

"Nah let's just go to bed. We'll talk in the morning. I'm sure the roomies will be grilling us anyways." I said before taking his hand and pulling him into my room.

You were woken up from the constant shifting happening next to you. Glancing at the time, you saw it was a little past 7am. You let out a sigh, mad that your feelings got the best of you. Trying not to make too much noise, you slipped out of bed and made your way out the door.

You didn’t know where you were going but when you started walking your feet led to the beach. Part of you regrets giving in to Kian but the other part of you missed him a lot more than you wanted to admit. Neither of you ever got the closure you deserved and every day without Kian, you regretted leaving the way you did.

You watched the sun rise as thoughts and memories flooded your head, not realizing how long you’ve been out there. When you got to the beach, it was nearly empty, just a couple joggers here and there but now it’s filled with people every way you look.

“Where have you been!” Franny yelled at you as you walked off the elevator to your floor, “We’ve been trying to call you dude,”

You shrug your shoulders, not seeing the big deal, “I was at the beach.” 

Franny’s face contorted, clearly confused, “You were at the beach...in sweatpants?”

Brushing off her comment, you pull your key card and walk into your room only to have 4 pairs of eyes on you. “Uh, hello?” you said, cautiously stepping further into the room.

An abundance of questions and comments started filling the room.

“What the fuck (Y/n),” from Jc

“We thought you got kidnapped,” from Corey

“Next time bring your phone if you’re gonna run off,” from Bobby

Your eyes locked on Kian’s, waiting for him to say something about your actions but it became clear he didn’t want to talk when he got off the bed and locked himself in the bathroom.

“Seriously, (y/n), what the hell happened?” Corey asks as they make space for you on the bed.

You couldn’t understand why everyone was freaking out over your disappearance until you looked at the clock. 1:45pm.

You were out for almost 6 hours with no phone, no way to contact anyone if anything happened. When you left, you didn’t even think about bringing anything with you. You also hadn’t expected to be there for as long as you were.

“Listen, I’m sorry, okay? I went to the beach and I didn’t realize how long I was out for. I forgot to grab my phone before I left,” your fingers played with the drawstring on your pants. You knew if you said anything else they’d bombard you with more questions.

You could feel everyone looking at each other and then at you and then at the bathroom door. Everyone assumed you and Kian probably had an argument and you didn’t want to be near him, but little did they know it was the complete opposite.

“As long as everything’s good,” Franny said, giving you her ‘I know something’s up but I’ll pretend you’re fine’ look.

You let out a little laugh when Corey said from behind his phone screen, “We’re just glad you’re not dead. That would have put a damper on this trip,”

“Oh thanks Cor. Glad that all you care about is your vacation,” you joked, rolling your eyes at him.

“Well am I wrong?” He retorted causing you to throw a pillow hitting him square in the face.

Your friends started their own conversations, finally leaving you alone. Nobody seemed to notice that Kian was still in the bathroom. You knew you couldn’t avoid him forever, as much as you wanted to, but right now he’s the one avoiding you.

You texted him that you needed to talk but minutes passed and he didn't answer. You felt a pinch on your heart when you saw he read it. 

Just as you were going to give up on him, Kian emerges from the bathroom, instantly locking eyes with you. The room went silent and once again all eyes were on you.

Neither you or Kian said a word, but it was clear that he wanted to talk when he tilted his head towards the door. In the background your friends fake coughing to ease the tension but when the hotel room door opens, they begin to whisper like little kids.

The two of you walk a couple rooms down the hall for privacy. You settle next to Kian on a bench you guys found by the elevators. Your fingers found their way to the drawstring once again, putting all your attention on anything but Kian.

“Why’d you leave?” Kian asked, his voice low and barely audible. You could hear the hurt in his voice as he spoke, “There were so many ways you could have gone, but just leaving? No note, no text. Nothing, (y/n).”

Your eyes roamed every inch of the room, not daring to make eye contact all while Kian never took his off of you. He studied your features, up and down, like he’s never seen you before. But he knows you. He knows you’re feeling guilty and scared. He knows you’re mad at yourself for letting him back in so easily. He spent 3 years with you, 3 years studying every facial feature, every look you make.

“I just..” You started to say, but as you opened your mouth every thought you had sublimated, “I don’t know why I left, okay? I just woke up and you were next to me and I don’t fucking know, Kian.”

The two of you stayed quiet, neither of you knowing what to say to the other. 

“Do you regret last night?” Kian asks, finally taking his gaze off of you, knowing if he continued looking at you, he would get the answer he was dreading.

No.

Not one second.

Tell him! Tell him you don’t regret it

Just say it, (y/n).

Your head was spinning with words but nothing seemed to come out of your mouth. Kian got the hint, that your silence was your answer. He stood up, ready to walk away.

You couldn’t tell him he was wrong. That you never wanted last night to end. It was as if your lips were glued shut, keeping in a secret you swore you’d never tell.

“I don’t,” you finally blurted out before Kian could take another couple steps away from you, “Last night, I don’t regret it.”

You could see Kian’s lips pull into a small smile before you turned around to sit next to you again.

“Then why’d you leave? And go off the grid for half the day?” Kian leaned back, resting his around on the ledge behind you. It took everything in him not to grab your hands and comfort you like he used to.

“Honestly? I knew if I stayed we’d have to talk about what happened. And not last night. I wasn’t ready but then I started thinking, and it’s not fair to you.”

Kians head rocked back and forth, taking in your answer but not getting the information he wanted. “Glad you’re finally realizing that,” Kian said, not completely joking, “So can you finally tell me what the fuck happened that made you leave us the way you did?”

You took a deep breath, sewing together words into sentences, hoping whatever you were about to say came out correct, “I just got scared,”

So many words. So many sentences. But that’s all you could get out. 

“Scared of what though?”

“You. And Andrea.”

“Me and And- (Y/n), what the hell? Because of our friendship?” 

You nodded, “You guys were getting close again and I felt like it was just a matter of time before your feelings for her came back and we just stopped being us.” 

Kian let out a small laugh, realizing how far off you were with your assumption. You shot a look at Kian, making him go serious, “Look, me and Andrea had history, yeah. But I was with you. I love you. You’re the only person I wanted to be with. Me and Andrea broke up for a reason.”

“But still. You were spending so much time with her. It was like you forgot about me and I just couldn’t do it anymore. So i left.”

The memory of that night played so clearly in your head. It did every night since the breakup.

“Franny, I can’t. Every time they’re together it’s like I disappear from his life and everything is about her.” You were holding back the tears as you confessed to Franny. You were going back and forth about leaving Kian. You wanted to stay and deal with this with him but you could only fight for so long.

“Did you walk to him about it? Does he even know how you feel?” Franny asks as she cradles your body, doing anything she can to keep you calm.

You couldn’t speak. You knew if you did a waterfall of tears would come and there’s no stopping until your eyes were empty of tears.

“I think you should keep fighting for him. But I get it. If you mentally and emotionally can’t deal with her being around anymore then maybe this is the end, (y/n).” Franny’s words kept replaying over and over.

This is the end.

3 years of your life gone just like that.

Everything you and Kian built together.

Every morning. Every night. Every kiss. Every touch.

Just like that, it’s all gone.

You picked yourself off the bed and headed straight for the closet. Grabbing your suitcase and bags, you stuffed all your belongings you had scattered around Kian’s room into them, praying you didn’t leave anything behind.

All the guys were out for the night, which gave you your chance to leave without anyone seeing.

“Are you sure this is what you want to do?” Franny asked as she met you at the bedroom door, getting ready to follow you out.

“No, but I know this is what’s good for me.” You say before exiting the room.

You were staying at Franny’s for a couple weeks until you could find your own apartment. Not a day went by that Kian didn’t try reaching out to you. Whether it’s a call or text or showing up unannounced at Fran’s. 

“Please let me talk to her, Fran. I haven’t heard from her in a week. I need to know she’s okay,” you could hear Kian say from his spot behind the front door. You could hear his voice crack, knowing he was seconds away from a breakdown.

“Kian, I know you love her, but she needs space. She’s fine I promise. We’re all looking after her. But you need to let her get her head straight.”

And he did. He stopped calling, and texting, and showing up unexpectedly.

He moved on.

But you never did.

“It wasn’t fair to me. Do you know how bad that fucked me up (y/n)? All I wanted to do was talk to you and I couldn’t even do that.” Kian played with his fingers, reliving that moment in time all over again.

The feelings from months ago came rushing back. All the sleepless night, the numerous reach outs, every night he went to bed without you got harder and harder.

“I know. And I wanted to call you but by the time everything settled down I didn’t think it was right to put you through it all again,” tears pricked your eyes as you just now realized Kian never moved on. For months all he thought about was you. Just like all you thought about was him.

“So now what?” Kian asked, breaking the silence that fell upon the two of you.

You hadn’t thought this far ahead when you were racking your brain on what could possibly happen. You wanted him in you life, whether as a friend or more. You missed his presence every day he was gone.

“I don’t really know. We can’t exactly pick up where we left off,” You glance as Kian to find him already looking at you.

You knew that wasn’t true. You could pick up where you left off, But a couple hours before that. You could fix everything together and nothing would change.

“I mean,” Kian said as he leaned forward, not once taking his eyes off of you, “We can. It wasn’t that hard for us last night,” You eyes fluttered to his lips. His tongue gliding over them as he inched closer to you, “Do you want to pick up where we left off?”

Your attention was brought back to his eyes. For once you didn’t think twice about your actions. You leaned forward, colliding your lips with his.

Everything happening around you stopped. The entire world was put on pause and the only thing happening was this moment with Kian.

“I’m assuming that’s a yes,” Kian muttered as he pulled away, his lips ghosting over yours.

“Of course it’s a yes,” you say before continuing your moment with him.

rip corey 🕊

i’m so incredibly sad by this. i don’t post them at all on this blog but i’ve been watching this friend group for years on youtube, to the point where it felt like i was actually one of their friends. i was in total shock when i found out about what happened to corey. he didn’t deserve this, he was just trying to celebrate his birthday. i just know all the vlogs and the videos will never be the same again, he was such an important part of them and always the funniest. the more i hear about what happened that night, the sadder i get. i hope so much that the friends who pulled corey out of the car that night get some help because that is traumatizing. i can’t even imagine how they’re feeling. we’ll miss u, corey.

Corey La Barrie was a big part of my life and two months later, I still refuse to believe he’s gone. He was a positive, motivational, hard-working human being and although he died young and there was so much more I’m sure he wanted to be done, he left such a huge legacy behind, which is why I want to get a tattoo to remember Corey by and I need y’alls help thinking of a tattoo that I can look to my arm or torso to take me back to all the good memories and how much Corey La Barrie made an impact. Warnings: Panic attack, rejection

Summary: Kian is convinced that you and Bobby would make the perfect match. In an attempt to get the two of you together, he tries to talk to Bobby about his feelings for you, only... it doesn’t go as planned.

“I don’t know about this Kian,” you sighed. You ran a hand over your face in frustration.

It wasn’t the first time that Kian had tried to push you so far out of your comfort zone that you thought you were gonna vomit. Like the time he drunkenly dared you to run butt naked with him on the beach, or the countless parties with too many drugs and too many people you didn’t know.

This time though, it was too much.

Bobby Mares, the guy you had known for years, the guy you had been best friends with from the day you met, was also the guy you had the biggest crush on.

“Come on, (y/n), it’ll be fine,” he dismissed with the wave of a hand.

“I’m not like you Kian, I can’t just walk up to anybody and have them instantly like me.” You crossed your arms over your chest, your hands trembling a bit.

Kian gave you a look, the one that could make you do anything he asked you to without question. That one where his eyes got wide and his lashes fluttered. 

“Fine, you can talk to him, but I don’t want you saying anything that makes it seem like I put you up to it.”

Later that night, you and the rest of the house were chilling in the living room, curled up together on the couch and watching a movie. Bobby had volunteered earlier to make more popcorn halfway through, and to Kian, this was the perfect time to “casually confront Bobby”. 

You pulled your hand tightly into your chest as you watched Kian silently follow Bobby out to the kitchen. Franny sends you a look of concern but you brush it off with a small smile.

...1 minute...

Man, it’s getting hot in here. 

...2 minutes...

Since when is there a hole in that wall?

...3 minutes...

Wow, that's a really big freckle.

...4 minutes...

Boy, I gotta pee.

Clearing your throat, you stood up slowly, your bones cracking lightly. Adjusting the waistband of your pants, you took a deep breath and made your way out of the living room. 

Kian and Bobby were talking about the movie when you walked by, nothing too special. after all, it was only the 400th time you’d watched The Greatest Showmen with them.

As water drizzled down from the faucet you faintly heard your name. Slowly turning down the water pressure, you leaned closely against the door to listen better.

Bobby was laughing. Was he laughing at you?

Kian asked him what was so funny about liking you. Bobby laughed a bit more at Kian’s question, but they just went back to talking about the movie.

Is that what he really thought of you? That you were a joke? 

Taking a deep breath, your throat closed a little tighter. You ran your hands up and down your arms lightly, eyes struggling to stay dry. You inhaled through your nose deeply and out through your mouth a few times. Taking another deep breath, breathing felt easier. 

“Hey (y/n), you coming?” Kian yelled down the hallway. You screamed back a yes through the door and leaned back against the bathroom counter for support. Your hands clenched the granite counter tightly, knuckles hurting from the pressure of the squeeze.

Sighing deeply, you took a step out into the hallway. You pushed a smile on your lips and ran your hands over your thighs as you walked.

Bobby smiled widely at you as you settled back into your spot next to him. His arm, just like it had done for the past three years you had been friends, wrapped around you. Kian sent a sympathetic smile your way, but you refused to look at him. Your body tensed, but in an attempt to act like you knew nothing, you slowly leaned into his touch. 

Maybe this is how it would always be, that was, until he found someone else.
