Spring rolls, pink city pasta and Oreo Shake at Cafe Metanoia, Grand Uniara, Jaipur. . . “Appearances are deceptive!” I was taught this at school and witnessed it happening at a very beautiful cafe near my place. First of all the service was so slow that I had almost forgotten that I was sitting inside the cafe.😅 Seriously what’s up with the hard-to-get captain of the cheerleading team from a Hollywood movie attitude? 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 Anyway, after placing the order it took ages to come and I could literally feel myself getting old while sitting and waiting for it. Although I can understand that it was a Saturday evening, yet it wasn’t that occupied to serve an order that late. Finally when the food arrived, I was highly disappointed for it tasted bad. The spring rolls were too oily and weren’t stuffed well. The pasta was chewy and lacked flavours. The Oreo Shake was watery and too sweet. Came back home to realise that Maggie is Shahrukh of my life! I don’t know whether it was a bad day or it was supposed to happen. I hope they improve everything soon.😓👎🏻 . . . A cool-girl staple for a minute now, big sleeves (think: tiered, flared, ruffled, or balloon-shaped) have a superhero-like ability to take any outfit from simple to sartorial in an instant but, at the same time, remain surprisingly wearable. . The one trend that we welcomed this year with our open arms is ; Bell Sleeves. Voluminous bell sleeves were seen on the runways at 2016 Fashion Weeks and the trend also rolled over into 2017 collections. The extra-flowy bell sleeve became a huge trend this year as it makes dressing up or down a little more exciting, whilst giving a nod to the much loved 70’s trend. . The bell sleeved top or dress is the perfect choice if you’re looking to make a fun, bold statement to a simple outfit. The key to styling this look, is to take a minimalist approach by teaming a bell-sleeved top with a simple pencil skirt or trousers for a day-time chic look or by teaming a bell-sleeved dress with a cropped leather jacket/ belt/ chunky accessories and heels to add a dramatic effect to the look. . I wore a plain bell sleeved dress from Ver Moda and styled it with a broad leather belt which defined my waist line and also added an element to the entire dress. Furthermore I wore black heels and carried a leather sling to complete this look. If you wish to embrace this look, I think it’s best to jump into the playful silhouette by showing off the billowing sleeve with a noticeable effect. Play around with different cuts and styles and have fun with the different fabrics and textures and remember there are no rules when it comes to style! . .
