In fact, right when she and Matthew were about to woohoo, the baby decided to make its big entrance! The various old men in the house come rushing in to see what all the fuss is about, and give some helpful advice.
Kurt: Are you okay, Hallie???
Hallie: DO I LOOK OKAY??
Jake: Stay calm. The tricky is to keep the breathing steady...
Paxton: Get off that bed, young man, your girlfriend needs you.
Matthew: She's not my girlfriend!! But, uh, you got this, babe!!
Meanwhile, Jayden comes home with a promotion, and Jake Sparks (formerly Jake Artemis, in yet another hideous basegame polo. I really need to sort out their household, lmao). They hit it off pretty immediately, which is nice! I feel like they're sort of the same type of guy, but Jake's got a lot of experience in the gamer field so maybe he can act as a bit of a mentor.
Kurt: Hear anything juicy?
Layla: Babe. This is serious surveillance gear for criminal investigations, not for gossip.
Kurt: So, nothing good.
Layla: Oh, go on, you’ve twisted my arm. Ash Sparks and Jake Artemis from the Bachelor just got engaged.
Kurt: No way. Those TV relationships never last.
Layla: Right? Ten bucks says they never actually make it to the aisle.

His name's Jake, but if you've heard of him it's probably by his alias: BloodMoonWarrior95. He recently placed second in the SimFighter III World Championships, has set records in LlamaRancher speedrunning (yes, you can speed run it!), millions tune in daily to watch his Spore streams, but it isn't easy for a gamer to find love. Dating a fan would be weird, right? And he's not about to date one of his competitors, either. Ash is pretty cute - and the free publicity can't hurt either! It's win-win.
When he isn't streaming, competing, gaming, Jake enjoys spending time outdoors. Connecting with the real world, y'know? He wouldn't call himself sporty, exactly, but he enjoys jogging along the beach, hikes... he's always wanted to try parkour IRL but he's worried he might mess up and make a fool of himself in public. Maybe the right person could give him that extra confidence and push to get out there and do the stuff he’s always wanted to!
