Happy Valentine’s Day

In truth, Jake’s reaction to his gift had been more than enough for her. She knew how much he loved dogs, but it was more than that. It was a promise to stay, to be there with him, to not leave him. And watching the two pups run around and get to know each other had been a delight all day. She’d never had pets growing up, so it was so much fun to just watch them.

Watching the corgis rough house in the living room, Abby perked up when she smelled something cooking. Standing, she smoothed her dress down and wandered into the kitchen, only to find Jake cooking.

Smiling softly, she walks up behind him and loosely encircles her arms around his middle. “You spoil me.” Craning her head around to look at what was on the stove, she took a deep breath. “It smells amazing. And Jake, you should know by now that as long as you’re by my side, anything you get or do is special.”

“Well, I commend you for your honesty.” Abby can’t help but laugh - days like this were among her favorites. Anons didn’t frighten her like they did once, and now it was simply amusing to have them try to get in her good graces, or seduce her, or even try to frighten her.

This one, thankfully, was familiar. She hums, approaching the grey-faced person with a gentle sway in her hips. “If you want access to ‘heaven’ as you put it, I hope you’re willing to put in the work to seduce me, love.” A slender hand reaches up and taps the anon’s nose. “But you should know, there’s someone who already has my eye. And I think he wouldn’t be too happy to know someone’s trying to steal me.”

Turning away, she glances over her shoulder. “Although... if you’re who I think you are... That shouldn’t be a problem. Come find me at home, sailor, and you’ll find your heaven.” She laughs again, giving a wave and sauntering away.
