Anyone else ever get really into something and do a ton of research and then you’re no longer into the thing so it’s no longer relevant?
Bc when I was into creepypasta I was for some reason utterly obsessed with the creepypasta ‘Radioface’, and I wanted to one day write something with Radioface/Noah so I read all the material on him and relating to him *multiple times*, used to have sound.mp3 memorized, I still remember his favorite band, I Lowkey am still waiting for Church’s origin story even though I’m convinced it’s never coming.
And now part of wanting to write a mentally ill character would obviously be researching the mental illness they have if you’re unsure what it is. I forgot what the one Noah had was called but I’d never heard of anything of the sort so I read like multiple articles on it and probably could’ve wrote a short paper on it at the time.
I’ve retained like half of that knowledge so now I just have knowledge abt a mental disorder I don’t know the name of and that nobody knows about that makes a person want to in some way dismember themself and remove a part of their body. I also know that what Noah specifically exhibited(discomfort with his eyes, leading to him removing them with a fork at a young age) isn’t even confirmed to be a version of the disorder yet. But where else besides tumblr would I talk about that sh^t?
when will :) 15 year old art kids :)) learn :) its not that easy to become a tattoo artist :) and how unsafe and unprofessional it is :)) to just buy a tattoo machine online and start tattooing people out of your bedroom :) and how they most likely wont get far in the profession being a scratcher :)))
