Jake stood in the dim glow of a warehouse turned training ground, the air thick with the scent of sweat and metal. He'd come here on a whim, perhaps call it an old habit. He watched the intense drill, a few old memories stirring of his time in Ravenwood. He shook them off, waiting until the drill paused, then approached. "Sergeant," he said, stopping a respectful distance away. "Jake Green," he extended a hand. "That was some fine work out there. Reminds me of my Ranger days. Small team, high stakes, no room for error." His eyes held hers, looking for something within her that he wasn't sure he needed to find. "You ever run drills like that in the field, or is this just to keep the rookies on their toes? Gotta say, you've got 'em moving like they mean it."
