I made a thing for @joanna.summers the other day. Before I put the finishing touches on my first cross stitch, I knocked this out for her. The message "my heart never left home" is to show that no matter how far I went from Bama, without me knowing it, my heart was always there all along and I would return. I knew I wanted this anyway, and fate intervened to lock that down in the form of Joanna. There are so many almost meetings/crossings we had in Tuscaloosa that we should have met 10-20 years before we did. This shows the state initials for every state I've been in since Joanna came into my life, our home state, and "NW-SE" for the two homes we have shared.
