There is no end to the amount of incredible edits that were released this year. 2013 was an amazing, mind-blowing and epic year for kendama. Before I even tell you my choice for the Best of 2013, let me just talk about the player. Not only is this guy epic at kendama, he has become a good friend of mine just through this wooden toy we all love to play with. I'm honored to present this cyber award to the one and only Mr. Jake Wiens! He is a freestyling, influential, charasmatic, inspiring flow-master in the kendama community. If he is not the MC to the battle you go to, it's just not the same. His energy is on another level, you feel it as you arrive into the same city as Jake. He's THE HYPEMAN of KENDAMA!!! The Jake Wiens - KendamaUSA Pro Announcement edit is my choice for the Best of 2013. Watching this was like watching a ski movie or an epic documentary. It brings you into the life Jake lives, his personality and the explanation of being in the "state of flow" and being honed. He even jams a Gold Mugen in this edit, how much more OG can you get? The multiple testimonies from his closest friends and colleagues justifies why Mr. Wiens is the new KendamaUSA Pro. What an incredible journey jake has been on through the years, I think its far from over too. "Something is Growing" and Jake Wiens is the Miracle Gro of the soil that is growing kendama everyday.
