NGL, I am pretty damn spoiled! This past week I’ve had two special art packages from two very talented ladies who both know that the best way to make my day is with a certain Sunshine boy (aka Prompto). Top is gifts from @momochanners who is currently making adorable keychains with original art tucked into them, as well as that beautiful Prompto original and a surprise little sketchbook with the chocobros right at the front! Then @jakface sent me stuff that arrived last week which includes not only a few sweet Prompto prints but also a ton of Chocobro stickers and the Prompto original she made at my request for Christmas (and she slipped in some extra things too!) Sorry for pimping you both at once ladies, I just wanted to share how sweet and talented you both art and kinda brag how you have both spoiled me rotten (but my walls are going to look amazing with actual sunshine hanging on them!)

1. How did you become interested in art?

I was interested in art at a very young age, drawing everything I could with markers and chalk. I had my first comic idea when I was 6 and started making stories where each piece of paper was a panel. I went through a lot of lined paper when I was a kid!

2. What's your favourite type of art to create and why (illustrations, sculptures, etc.)?

I like making comics and illustrations that make people laugh, I also love drawing things for other people because their reactions are just the best, like commissions of their oc's or favourite characters. Usually digital or at cons it'll be with ink and bristol, sometimes with copic markers!

3. What's your favourite art to date that you've done and why?

Probably as a whole my webcomic www.woohoocomic.com a lot of time and effort goes into every page and background. As for a single piece, probably my fan art of Lucio from Overwatch - http://68.media.tumblr.com/…/tumblr_oaq7crYydm1qigxf4o1_128…These days I don’t have time to do fully rendered pieces/backgrounds so it was nice to be able to finish it and feel calm while looking at a piece I created.

4. What's a dream piece of art you'd like to create?

A fully completed published graphic novel from start to finish.

5. Besides art, what else do you like to do in your spare time?

Video games mostly, I’m a bit of a hermit that dreams to go out and do more. I’m working on my motorcycle license and want to drive across North America on one. I also love dance and music. I also care for 2 hamsters. I am a hamster mom.

6. What art do you have planned for the future?

I have a comic idea I’ve been working on that I want to try to make, but it needs a lot of work and research. I also want to make more wearable art (enamel pins/tshirts/sweaters). Also need to work on getting chapter 2 of Woo Hoo! finished up.

7. Any tips for anyone who wants to get into art?

Draw what you want to, not what everyone else wants you to or else you’ll burn out quickly. Focus on studying everything you can in your area of art. Don’t be afraid to draw people in the street. Don’t undersell yourself. Take breaks when you need to because YOU are number one.
