@slashfilmfest day 1 🖤🖤🖤 first day kicking off with a smart little commentary on rampant capitalism, socio-political dynamics and ills called LAPSIS. i could've done without the technophobia but it was witty, well played and charming. 8/10 qubits. 💻🔌🔌🔌 what would a pitch dark comedy as coping mechanism for a dramatic life written by children look like? perhaps something like FILS DE PLOUC [MOTHER SCHMUCKERS]. childishly naive, rampantly funny, inventively edited and just a blast. loved it! 🐕🔫💩🖕 never been too much into vampires. if vampires than at least those inspired by nosferatu. A new trailer has been released for Jakob’s Wife, which is set to release April 16, 2021.

Anne is married to a small-town minister and feels like her life and marriage have been shrinking over the past 30 years. After a chance encounter with “The Master,” she discovers bite marks on her neck, a new sense of power and an appetite to live bigger and bolder than ever. As Anne is increasingly torn between her enticing new existence and her life before, the body count grows and Jakob realizes he will have to fight for the wife he took for granted.
