Part of Jalan Travers renamed Jalan Rakyat
KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 15, 2015:
Datuk Seri Najib Razak today announced that a part of Jalan Travers, in front of the Bank Rakyat Twin Towers, had been renamed Jalan Rakyat.
The Prime Minister said the renamed road was the stretch from the junction with Jalan Tun Sambanthan up to where it meets with Jalan Bangsar.
“It is to perpetuate the name of Bank Rakyat and celebrate the people who are the lifeblood of the excellence of Bank Rakyat, comprising the multiracial members, clients and society throughout the country,” he said in his speech at the opening of the Bank Rakyat Twin Towers.
