Jalopy has a great show coming up this Tuesday, December 4th at 8 pm. The show will feature: Rising Appalachia - Sisters Leah and Chloe from New Orleans preside over a soulful, rootsy band of fellow travelers, producing a mesmerizing sound that owes equal debt to languid southern blues, appalachian bluegrass, sultry New Orleans swing and hip hop. Their nearly constant touring has earned them a fervent following. Apocalypse Five & Dime - A Brooklyn roots/bluegrass/punk/doowop six-piece. Squeezing dance grooves and heartbreak out of a banjo, ukulele, bass drum, tuba, fiddle, saxophone and four voices. Mamie Minch - One of the best old-school blues guitarists and singers you'll hear. She sings and plays songs of her own devising that sound like they've been stored in her old National guitar for decades.
