Lindy Hop Jam Circle from 1999

WOW CHECK OUT THIS JAM CIRCLE danced to “Sing, Sing, Sing” first of all

LOOK HOW MUCH ROOM THOSE DANCERS HAVE TO DANCE

everyone surrounding the jam circle seems so tame and not going crazy like we do in today’s jam circles

it’s always good to go back and kind of see how things have evolved so much over time.

one of my favorite leads came up and touched my shoulder while I was watching a jam circle going on

my only thought was,

"oh, you must be moving me out of the way to get to some better dancer so you can get in the jam with them"

so I moved,

but he actually wanted to dance with me in the jam

ahahahahahahahahaaaaa i'm so embarassing

we ended up dancing and it was great

but in retrospect I realize that my reaction to the situation is very sad
