what if in the Inverse AU of the Robot AU of Jam, Tim still had Masky and then he came out after a seizure and Jay started freaking out because Tim just "short circuited again and now he's acting strangely."

[Wow this is the most depressing thing I have ever written to date. I literally made myself cry. So, if you're not ready for horrible emotional trauma do not read this. I seem to have become John Green. ... How many people would kill me if I made a robot AU where both Jay and Tim were robots?

Well, here lies the beginning of the AU's AU. It's tiny, it's just a little beginning spatter. But here it is.

This is getting out of hand.

So now there's an AU of turtle and azazel's Jam robot AU, in which Jay is the robot and Tim is the human. Turtle's anon kept throwing out headcanons and so I wrote a thing about the aftermath of one of Tim's seizures. 

“It’s not your fault,” Tim told Jay. Jay continued to pace around the small workshop, trying to hide how hard he was shaking, though there was no hiding the tendrils of smoke that curled between the plates in his back. Tim grabbed Jay by his shoulders and forced him to meet his gaze. “Really. I’m alright.”

“I don’t believe you,” Jay said finally. “What was that? Why did you short circuit?”

“It was a seizure.” Tim shrugged. “I’ve had them since I was a kid.” Tim shifted uncomfortably. No one had ever cared for him before and he wasn’t sure how to handle Jay’s concern.

“How do I make them stop?”

“Make what stop?” Tim shook his head.

“The seizures. How do I stop them?”

“You, uh, you can’t. I just sort of have to ride them out.” Jay didn’t say anything, so Tim barreled on. “I mean, it’s fine. It’s no big deal or-“

“It is a big deal,” Jay huffed, distortion leaking into his voice. “If you break I- I don’t know how to fix you.” A small drop of menthonol slid down Jay’s cheek.

“Jay,” Tim said, his voice breaking before he could continue. He opened his arms and the blue bot flew into them and buried his face in Tim’s shoulder.

“I don’t want to lose you,” Jay mumbled into Tim’s shirt. Tim’s chest tightened.

“You won’t,” he said, fighting the lump in his throat. He had never told Jay that Jay’s lifespan was much longer than his. He didn’t know if he could, anymore.
