i didnt get the dorm hall i thought i would get BUT mine really isnt that bad

and it's closest to campus so thats good

but while a lot of dorms have their own bathrooms, this one is suite-style......... so six girls for one bathroom....... wh y

im really thankful for my little vw beetle bug ok

because i was real excited about animal crossing when i got home and i turned off my car w/o putting it in park

and my display window was like "PUT THE CAR INTO 'P'!!!!". bless u lil bug. life saver.

i slept so well last night!! like, i went to bed kinda early, and i slept through the whole night, and i woke up feeling relaxed and peaceful.

and it's weird because i haven't felt like that in a while, despite sleeping that same amount before??

so i told my dad and he's like "that's the sleep of someone who's no longer under stress!" 

which is probably true. i've finished high school so now i'm able to... sleep properly??? it's like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders and i love it

today in class the guy i took to prom flashed me the vulcan salute (i returned it!!!) and I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW HE KNOWS I LIKE STAR TREK LIKE WTF but it was the funniest shit ever to me idk

so we let our neighbors borrow our tennis court and let me tell u, 

it is a bit disturbing to hear a grown man groan and sigh so loudly that you can hear it from your own room

the noises ppl make during tennis are the same ones they make during sex, im 99% sure of that
