“what is the meaning of this?” she asks barging into the room, blue eyes blazing with fury as she glares at the teacher. “i know you have never been fond of slytherins, but this is simply unacceptable!”

thankfully classes are over for the day, so only james is in the room. she doesn’t want lucius to hear of this visit, it’s been hard enough keeping draco’s detentions a secret.

“hmm. i am not going to...” clearing her throat, narcissa brushes a stand of blonde hair behind her ear. “that would just get in the way! if you are doing that badly in divination, we need to get stared right away.” narcissa is a selfish creature by nature, understandable since she is usually the center of people’s universe -- her family, her circle of friends, etc -- and she has allowed that trait to seep into her relationship with james. 

he is always taking care of her. it’s time for her to do something.
