Your OCs, regardless of circumstance, have suddenly found themselves stuck in a dead-end menial office/data entry/similar job. How do they react?
(Assume your historical OCs exist in the modern world for the sake of the ask, and do know at least the basics in how to operate a computer - this is more of a personality question than a historical circumstance question)
OH BOY what a scenario! Hmm...
Blake:
Absolute torture. He'd wilt like an unwatered orchid in direct sunlight. Not only would he feel like he was in a sensory deprivation cage all the time, but he would really struggle with executive functioning and task initiation. All the screens would give him migraines, too. A greater problem would be that he would just spread his misery to the people around him, and suddenly you'd have a whole office of incredibly depressed and physically pained people.
James:
He'd be shaken at first, being a fish out of water (in accordance with my headcanon as James being an historical re-enactor in the modern day) but I think he'd quickly learn how to make the most of it. He'd busy himself with streamlining tasks and maximizing efficiency, and he'd RULE the water cooler talk. He'd have fun interfering with and manipulating office politics, for sure. At the end of the day, though, he wouldn't be taking it too seriously.
