Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Supports Needy Children across the United States - By James Cortopassi
Founded by Marie Osmond, her family, and a talented group of actors and businesspeople, Children’s Miracle Network has been providing support to hospitalized children for nearly three decades. Children’s Miracle Network takes a community-centered approach and focuses fundraising efforts on local children’s hospitals. This “miracle” network of hospitals spans nearly every region of the country, touching children’s lives in a positive way while keeping funds where they can be used most effectively: in local communities. Corporate partnerships with Wal-Mart, Ace Hardware, Delta Air Lines, and many other organizations help provide Children’s Miracle Network with a solid financial foundation. In my home state of New Jersey, Children’s Specialized Hospital, part of Children’s Miracle Network, has provided care and rehabilitation to Gianna, who suffered life-threatening injuries from a car accident at the age of one. Now 13, this courageous individual strives to lead a positive and enriching life. She expresses her gratitude by serving as a champion of the Children’s Miracle Network cause. James Cortopassi is a philanthropist and litigation support specialist from Manalapan, New Jersey.
