While real James is now cat James, his consciousness can still appear in your dreams. He‘s come to apologise. His big cat self has not been very helpful when it comes to Vincent‘s and Ingo‘s relationship.

As for Ingo: I imagine he still sees himself wearing his non shredded uniform which is why that‘s what he looks like in his dreams. The setting is a subway station but everything is sorta fuzzy because he can‘t quite remember.

Ok so, I’ve had this question for a while. You’ve said before that James Crow was inspired by Cross so obviously there’d be similarities between them.

However!

Speaking strictly in universe: given the timeline of events (which I’m obviously not fully aware of), do you think Cross is possibly a reincarnation of Crow or does Vincent possibly just have a thing for huge muscular and… let’s say “morally flexible” men who make questionable decisions with magic and/or the supernatural.

We didn't write down a definition but in my book Crow is an ancestor of Cross. The original evil wizard so to speak. So it's somewhat in Cross' blood to become mad with occult power.

Vincent has just been at the wrong place at the wrong time. And yes having a thing for big smart hunks with flexible morals probably helps too ;)
