Sirius looks away from his on-pitch nemesis.
The rivalry didn’t really make sense. Sirius was a beater, clearing the space for James to score.
His nemesis was a keeper, steady on his broom and watchful of everything. But Sirius got so caught up in those eyes. The way they scanned everything, never faltering. Sirius catches them for just a second and Remus doubles back, flashes a blinding grin and continues his watch. Sirius nearly falls off his broom just from that.
He doesn’t. But the bludger that slams into him half a second later…
