Jake turned his head towards the sound of the man’s voice, blinking a few times despite not actually seeing them. Yes he could sort of see the hint of shapes, and ever so slight variations in light and dark if the person or item was incredibly up close, but he was blind. “I’m alone? Huh.” He chuckled softly, adjusting his cane a bit and motioning to the rest of the bench. “I wanted to take in the sights.” He laughed at his own joke. “No but really I had a break in my schedule and wanted to get some fresh air.” He turned again to simply face forward. “My name is James. What’s yours?”

It doesn’t really bother me actually... it was something that made my day. Someone took time away from their day to be hateful without giving me a reason why. Like that’s laughable for me.

I would argue that oblivion was worse mechanically and less-interesting (discounting the DLC. Because who gives a fuck about cyrodil?) whereas skyrim takes the entire setting’s lore and does everything it can to shit all over it.

Daedric Armor took a ton of exploration and adventuring to find a single piece. It was awesome when you managed it.

It wasn’t equipped by random bandits that ambush you on roadways. It felt like something out of a legend and I preferred that.
