Life is Short, Live it Once a Day.
We don't know what tomorrow brings that's why the future tends to scare us not to look beyond today. Yet some see the future in the eyes of optimism with great expectation with the element of surprise, that the best is yet to come and the night will pass and the sun will shine brighter when morning comes. They will do everything they can in the present to prepare for the unrealized future without any idea what it has stored for them.
Yes, to plan for the future is not a wrong thing to do but to plan it in accordance with the one who is already there is far more better than writing your "Bucket List" without Him. As James reminds us in James 4:14 that life is short as if its like a morning mist in a leaf of a plant it appears for a moment but when the sun shines then it evaporates. So life as we know it should be lived once a day and allowing God to make His way. as the old adage said, "Man proposes, God disposes."
So when you write your "Bucket List" -or we better call it a prayer list- please include the one who wrote it first, plus the script- "if the Lord willeth" :)
