My first Covid 19 related commission. @realsmij commissioned me to create this drawing after learning I had been forced into unemployment and all my upcoming mural contracts were terminated as a result of Covid 19. @realsmij, formerly known as 'James Bronze' gained fame in San Francisco after years of unique street performing in Union Square. I had seen him perform for several years before we became friends. He has since then been a supporter and collector of my work. Lately we've been spending time getting into elaborate conversations about spiritual energy, art, film making while drinking high end whisky (at a safe distance) and watching mind blowing movies (like ZORDOZ) I had never been introduced to before until recently. Living life outside of the general rush of work and never ending obligations has definitely led me to hold longer and far more in depth conversations with people that I simply did not have the time nor patience to do before. It's interesting to witness the complexities of ourselves and other people's lives as society comes to a screeching halt.
