Saturday Drawing/BBQ (Part 2) These last six months have definity brought up on some high highs and very low lows. With any great change in my life, disruption and great social rift; I find it best to find the silver lining and try to recognize/celebrate the good that comes out of it. Despite the anxieties brought on by the uncertainty of my own life and the current direction America is taking; these last six months have definitely showed me a different side of life. As society has slowed down and basic daily routines have altered greatly I personally have had more time to strengthen friendsips, reconnect with family and develop new relationships with people I may have never had the chance the chance to know pre pandamic. Watching (and tasting) @realsmij revisit his talent and passion for cooking, staying up late nights drawing and talking with @davidlawrencehemingway on his padio overlooking Nob Hill, helping to organize social distant birthday street BBQ's at @the_loin_sf and yesterday's drawing day at the apartment of @davidlawrencehemingway, having longer and far more in depth conversations both in person and on the phone with family and friends that I may have not had the chance to get that deep with previously due to our fast paced society, eating and appreciating new types of food from friends and @amsterdam_sf, making new friends and participating in a new form of community, taking more time to develop my craft, watching steet art finally make a new appearnce in this overtly gentrified city, experience outdoor seating (finally) in this fucking city, drinking legally on the street and staying up till nearly 6am last night to witness a lightning/thunder storm in the skies above San Francisco! HOLY FUCK! #dyoungv #realsmij @davidlawrencehemingway (at Nob Hill, San Francisco) https://www.instagram.com/p/CD-APN0h7lX/?igshid=1w920dvlpei7x
