Here is another video; this one is again from Rome and is a chant of Kyrie Eleison. This is from the 6th century so again, about 500 years before the great schism of 1054. It is almost identical to modern day Byzantine chanting as heard in the Orthodox Church. Listening to this, I think it is such a shame that the schism occurred.
