wow!! your jameson’s powers are incredible, what age did he discover them? has he told anybody about them? -(this is jaeyleo btw!)

He was probably in his early 20s when he discovered them. The only ones who really know about them are the other septics, but that was more out of demonstration than actually telling them.

He’s such a huge fan of cartoons and animation. If he makes it to this time period, he wants to try and get a career in animation somehow. He’s willing to learn anything and everything about it. He’s already a decent artist, but cartoons are his passion.

I’ve been thinking more and more about my version of Jameson, and I had an idea.

In his own time, he’s selectively mute. He doesn’t have a lot going for him, no friends or family to speak of, and for him, it’s depressing, since all the vibrancy and magic he experiences is when he comes here. 

But when he sleeps and dreams, and travels through time to visit the other septics, he can speak, he can perform cartoon logic, he has a family and friends to come to. Life here is magical, and Jameson hates having to wake up eventually.

He knows what he dreams about is real. He knows the septics, and Jack, exist. He knows he can do strange magic, but in his own time, in his own waking life, he cannot do much of those things at all, and he has no one to speak to...

I can’t stop thinking about how much it must’ve meant to Jameson to realize that not only was Marvin real, but he was willing to travel back in time to meet up with him, instead of the other way around.

Knowing that the other Septics officially recognize him as one of their own probably helps him feel a lot less lonely.
