moondust // reina & jamie
the term has resumed and all has been busy. the library and several quiet spaces throughout the castle has been reserved for busy witches and wizards, burying themselves back into school work. it’s only been a couple of weeks, and yet the stress cries of a thousand students echo throughout the halls. quite literally, jamie thinks as he passes a girl crying onto her potions essay.
adjusting the bag on his shoulder, jamie enters the back of the library; a space that has been under an enlargement charm to hold the capacity. seventh year students have long ago claimed it as their own, and now clusters of students gathered around tables and playing music, charms on the threshold as to not disturb anyone beyond that point. deep in his bag is the three assignments that must be finished by the end of the week, and yet, jamie had an idea that was perhaps far more better.
he seeks her out in no time at all, setting his bag down on the table reina sits at, memorizing her usual spot. a raise of his brows and a smile on his mouth provides as a greeting, and he takes the seat across from her. “so,” he starts, leaning on his elbows and poking at her hand to get her to stop writing. “i think it’s time to put down the course work for today. i heard some news, chapman’s throwing a party, and i say we crash. it’s your time to cut loose, settler. what do you say?”
