With the young, kind spirit that Wells was, the brunette was often found spending his time with the younger natives of Springhill. It reminded him to be youthful, chase his dreams, and if he ever finds himself in a rut; go and change it. Today was one of those days where he wanted to feel youthful -- not to mention, the feeling of being around an old friend. He only had to work a half day at Beyond The Crust -- the Demarco family owned pizza shop in Springhill -- and he was grateful for that. Being the only younger Demarco in town since his sister left, it was hard for Wells to find any time to do things that he wanted to do, that he enjoyed. With the time he had in his day, he had texted Jamie earlier asking if he wanted to hang out after he got out of work. Excited that he had said yes, Wells made his way to the other’s place of employment, Deja Brew. But not before he cleaned himself up, counted down his drawer, clocked out, and said goodbye to his mother as she was working the day shift alongside him.
Thankfully, the two shops weren’t all that far from one another. Walking down the streets of Springhill, he took in the sun and the fresh air that wasn’t filled with grease. After a few moments, he made his way into Deja Brew and instantly landed eyes on Jamie. “J, hey hey hey!” he said excitedly, opening his arms wide as he made his presence known. “Lookin’ real snazzy in that apron of yours,” he chuckled as he walked himself closer to the counter. “I know, I’m a few minutes earlier. Decided to grab a cup before we headed out,” he said to his friend on the other side of the counter. “What do you recommend for me today, hmm?” he asked, rubbing his hands together, creating friction.
