Zoe Modiga is a singer, songwriter, and performer from Pietermaritzburg, currently honing her skills while studying Jazz at the University of Cape Town.
Powerful and diverse in range, her voice is hard to ignore. Having performed at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival as well as collaborating on a track with The Kiffness, Zoe is fast making a name for herself.
“My work at this point is aimed at evoking emotion, it is about the self,” she explains. “It looks to build who ever listens to it. An inspired sound for the open mind. Jazz, African and Soul can be found in it.”
